Here is a cognitive functions systen for MBTI.

WARNING: IF YOU HATE/ARE BAD AT MATH GO AWAY!!!!!!! YOU WILL OVERLOAD!!!!!!

Definitions:

Before we get to the actual system, we must define a few things first.

General

Call someone's MBTI, ABCD (For INTJ: I=A, N=b, etc.)

A means someones letter in the A slot, -A means the letter not in the A slot

Which system to use

Define I and J = -1

Define E and P = 1

IF: A*D=1
THEN: Use system X
Else:Use system Y

X

Dominant = AB
Secondary = -AC
Tertiary = A-C
Inferior = -A-B

Y

Dominant = AC
Secondary = -AB
Tertiary = A-B
Inferior = -A-C

Evaluate the system if you wish.

It works, though the following two statements are so ambiguous that I had to reconstruct their meanings based on the rest of the system:

My points of confusion:

  • N=b have special significance vs. N=B? (nope... looks like you were just inconsistent)
  • With the second line, are you saying that A means that somebody's letter is in the A slot, and -A means that it's not in the A slot? Makes no sense, especially since you don't say what would take its place and where it would go. (Nope... You're just saying that -A is the complement of A.)

The rest basically made sense, though I wonder if this system could be expressed more elegantly. It'd be nice if we didn't have to choose between two systems, but could just work off of one. This should be possible, considering the similarities between the two systems. The follow the same patterns.

Works.

My compressed notation (same logic):

EJ/IP = Ca, B-a, -Ba, -C-a
IJ/EP = Ba, C-a, -Ca, -B-a

And deconstructing for easier memorization:

C B -B -C
B C -C -B

a -a a -a

Examples:

INTJ => IJ => NiTeFiSe

N T F S
i e i e

ESFJ =>

F S N T
e i e i

Now if we take all the vowels and assign them an alphanumeric code, where A=1 and E=5, and do the same for the consonants, then we can determine our personality's numerological number on a scale of 1 to 9! Mathematical conversion of letters gets us where again? Mmm...I almost see a turtle somewhere in all of this. EIEI..O!!! snicker...ESFJs hate us for our humor. Sorry, just had to do it. My "N" was getting bored with the "T" part of me.
