I was trying to figure out a better way of keeping track of posts, and responses to threads I have posted in, and noticed something. If you search for all user posts (under user cp) it shows which threads have new posts, and which ones do not by shading the thread. However, there is no way to click directly to the new posts in those threads. I was wondering if it would be difficult/possible to add a link when looking at the all user posts screen? I would imagine this would be useful to many active members.

JM do you use subscribed threads under quick links? that's what I use to keep track of the threads I've responded to.

Nope, as far as I know that sends an email when someone responds? At least it does at other forums. I already get more than enough email, and like manually checking up on threads when I come back to the site.

You can also subscribe to your control panel notifications instead of email, by selecting "no email notification" when you subscribe.

You can also do this via the "Thread tools" link on top of every thread page.

I don't get emails every time someone responds to a thread I've responded to.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but if you can see the thread title in it's shaded/not shaded form, you can click the little triangle to the immediate left of the title and it will take you to the your first unread post in the thread.

If you go to user cp, click on your profile, then the statistics tab, and then find all posts by (*); you will see what I mean. All of the posts that have new responses are darkened, but there is no triangle to click on.

Oh I see what you mean, the pages icon next to thread title in the list of your posts is darkened when there are new posts. I never noticed that before. If you click on the thread title, it will take you to the the thread and just to the left of the thread title, above the first post, there is a triangle. Click the triangle to go to the first unread post.

Go to Search>Advanced Search> type your username in the "user name: field" > click "search now"

The list will show all the threads you posted in with the little triangles available.

Just for you though, you can click on this link:

Thank you for the replies. I did not know about the triangle being at the top of the threads.
