Yes, with computers not just on computers.

I'm just wondering since I spend an unhealthy amount of time on the Internet alone. When I'm not on my computer I'm spending time learning about it in school.

So hmm... let's compare since I like stats.

Just curious since I'm prone to spending my whole weekends on the computer.

4-7 hours a day, sometimes more. It's hard to not spend time on the computer sense it's a necessity for me -- I have to check my email, buy stuff, do programming / math homework, etc. And of course, I also participate on forums and procrastinate.

On a free day, I wake up at 6-7:00, turn on my computer, and at 9-10:00pm I shut it down and go to sleep. I basically don't stand up the whole day unless i go out to eat. So call it 15 hours

On a school day, unfortunately, i only get to spend an hour and a half on the computer at school, and roughly 7 at home. Unless you count time spent playing on my graphing calculator (I would not be surprised if it had more computing power than the school comps... hell, my WATCH probably has more computing power =P)

I have entertained they idea of convincing my teachers to let me use my pocket pc for notes and homework, and then i could use the schools wifi to check intjforum instead. I get the better grades then the rest of most of my classes even though i take notes between levels on a game on my calculator and only half-listen to the teacher.

I am guessing that no one here will vote for 0-1 hours in an honest manner.
Is it even possible for a person to belong to a forums while using 1 hour of computer time at the most, on their free day?

I really need to stop using the computer as much, but the web is so big and it just keeps on growing! We need more hours in the day.

It's really funny, when I have school I don't want to get up. On a weekend however the first thing I do is turn on the computer. I'll be using it till bed time. Although I do manage to insert a few hours for pencil and paper homework.
I don't know why I'm so addicted to it, probably because I don't have anything I feel like doing more than using the internet.

I don't know if you can complain about the computers at school. They aren't too cheap and schools have to buy large quantities. Although at my university we have a couple labs with core2s, meanwhile at my high school they're probably using pentium3s and 4's.

I spend a lot of time with computers... pretty much all of the time I don't devote to going to school, sleeping, or talking to people. I only watch about an hour or so of television a day, leaving me about 4-6 hours of computer time each day... sometimes longer on weekends. Once I spent 12 hours IM-ing a friend of mine (who happened to be an INTJ), but that's unusual for me. And my wrists were so sore I couldn't use the computer the next day.

I'm a college student, I sit at my computer and do hw all day, there really isn't anywhere else to spend time in my room, so I always have to sit at my computer desk.

You might try case statements instead of if then statements.

I would function worse without computers but I enjoy video games and old-fashioned books just as much. Books are an inconvinience because I have to drive to the library so I often read ebooks or etexts which I find sad.

My worst day would be the 28 hours I spent on one straight... Have to love projects- However, on average, probably 6-13 hours, depending on what I have to do for my personal information gain. If I can hit a library, only three, if I can't but have books or something to do sixish. If I don't have anything.... Oh god, I don't leave the computer, not when I can read 'Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep' on my computer.

On a day when I don't have to go to school or do anything (except practice piano and flute), probably 6-8 hours.

If I didn't have to get up to fix food, do laundry, worry about my skin grafting itself to the chair, etc. I'd probably never leave my computer.

At school I have a computer related class, so I spend about 1.6 hours on the PC there, and about 6 to 10 hours at home ... which is a lot!

Hmmm... well noting that I only sleep 4hr a day..just about 7,000 hrs/yr, nearly 140 hrs/wk... I guess 19-20 hrs a day are accurate most of the time... with a small exception on those days that I have to interview and guide individuals on what to do to comply with things which is like 2% of my job...

That's not enough time is it? Can we extend the days to 48 hrs?....

Did I mention that I don't watch much TV, play games, or use my time outside of studying, or that I truly hybernate into my computer? I know bad habit... welcome to the program of reaching goals on time... it requires precise calculations and extreme devotion... let me put it nicely... my phones are like a computer... access to the internet is indispensable to me, so I have two cells with internet just in case one dies first...

Someday I'm hoping to find someone who can take me away from it, but for now it just happens to be my best friend and the only one that understand me...

I can pretty much spend all day in front of my computer, and have done so on many occasions. The sun scares me.

It depends. I didn't bring any games onto campus, so I don't have that option. Other than that, it's mainly INTJf, Facebook, Gmail, listening to music... When that's over, then I might do some random surfing or just wait patiently until a new post pops up on the INTJf. When I get bored of being online (oh my!) I find something else to do. At the moment that would be scrapbooking, hanging out with people around the dorm (watching DVDs, etc.), cleaning up my room + aquarium, ... oh, and not to forget: homework... But homework mostly has to be done on my computer anyway.

Mon-Fri, I'm on my computer for maybe four hours a day, mostly doing work. On Saturday and Sunday, I become slightly addicted if there's nothing else for me to do.
