Not actually that long. I usually log on long enough to check a couple blogs, make some replies and log off. Probably an hour or so? Maybe a bit longer on days I have off of work and school? I have a habit of leaving the browser open though so that when I do feel like purusing it's all open and ready for me.

4-5.

I know.

I am soooo addicted.......

Even for short post it's still like 30 minutes to construct the post.
Average post is like 1hr to 1.5hr to construct.
Long post take around 3hrs.
And then the lurking time.
Don't leave the forum for 40 minutes on average to see if anyone responses to my ideas after every post.

There is no way this is healthy for me

Weekdays I scuttle through several times a day, usually for 5 minutes' read or less while I'm waiting for code to build...another half hour to hour in the evening to look around and respond to anything briefly.

This, of course, does not count time composing longer responses pr blog posts offline, which varies from 1 hour to 'simply scary'.

Usually 4-5 hours a day (wow.) but it's not all at once. It's in the morning, at work (so productive), after I get home from work, then I wont be on again generally till late at night.

Alot of it is lurking if I don't find the topic interesting.

Same as Storm. I spend many hours logged in, but very little is usually spent posting or even reading things. I just like to be around in case I feel like dropping in, which I usually do several times a day.

At least an hour each day, but usually a lot more than that...

It's generally open in the background when I'm connected to the net, along with at least one other forum. The amount of time I spend actively reading or posting is different but you don't become a postwhore who avoids the games forum without spending the time.

An hour or less usually, but there are some days where it can be significantly longer.

On weekdays, I usually spend about 20-30 minutes total during the day, just lurking or making the occasional post, then perhaps another few minutes in the evening, if there was a topic that particularly interested me. On weekends, it can be a lot longer - that's when I allow myself to leave it open in the background.
