NT - Hmm... well, there might be something to it from a cognitive view. That is, the commitment to certain principles or beliefs may fortify the human mind against deceptive influences. *shrug*
NF - I think it's true in a way; if you don't have moral guidelines, whether they're from yourself or from others, it's easy to be led astray.
SJ - Damn straight! You need good guiding principles in your life.
SP - Authoritarian propaganda, designed to make you conform to societal values.
