So, I am an avid WoW player and I have been pondering about the MBTI of important lore characters lately. Here is my take on a few characters.
The Lich King: INTJ Well, basically this entire expansion he has been manipulating us into go into Icecrown Citadel and kill him and hidden his true intentions. He appeared weaker than he really was with the intention to lure the strongest champions of Azeroth inside Icecrown Citadel, kill them and raise them as the strongest battle unit on Azeroth. then he would wage war against the Burning Legion to kill his creator because this is what he really wanted all along. And lets face it, with every hero of Azeroth in the possession of the Lich King he would have won. Basically he is a prime strategican, never went around revealing his true intentions. Instead of getting living minions like an ENTJ would be likely to do, he turned the majority of the scourge into mindless servants. [HIDE="Contains information about the boss encounter."]When he fought against us, he had Tirion trapped and the battle was won, NOTHING could possibly be done. Then Tirion came and by defying logic he broke out of the ice and shattered Frostmourne. Arthas was cold and calculating and didnt even reveal his true intentions in the moment of victory. He didnt have any emotional talk with his father, he just said a few words and then died.[/HIDE] Kiljaeden: ENTJ (possibly INTJ) He is pretty much the same as Lich King though the big difference lies in their way of handling their minions. Whereas the Lich King would simply kill anything that failed him, Kiljaeden gives his minions another chance to redeem themselves (Illidan for example) and his minions arent under his total control, unlike the Lich King. Also he has the title "the Deciever", basically he is very good at scheming and decieving, perhaps this is an INTJ villain trait though although he is very keen to show off his power. Tirion Fordring: ISTJ A sense of justice and duty to kill the Lich King. He was blinded by righteousness and did not think about anything else than killing him. He speaks of fighting with honor all the time (like that is going to help against the scourge). [HIDE="Spoiler about Lich King encounter"]After the Lich King dies, he feels that it is his duty to take on the crown to prevent the scourge from attacking everything.[/HIDE] Your take on any character in World of Warcraft? |
