When I first took the MBTI when I was 22 I tested as INFP. Now, at 30 I'm an INTJ. I'm a mod at the MBTI group on Myspace and people say it can be due to stress. I was depressed from 12-26. I believe I was an INTJ when I was a kid and then turned INFP during those teenage years. There are people who still think I'm an INFP who's putting on this front that I don't have emotions. I think there's this misconception that INTJs are pure evil and don't care about people. Also, I think it's hard to really know a person when it's just in text. My friends in person call me mean, but they know I do care inside. While, I can understand INFPs and know what it's like for them, I can relate to INTJs more. INFPs can really annoying the shit out of me now, and ISFPs too. This is the most clear-headed I have been.

I'm also new here, so hello! The name's Palina. I wanna' also add the choices for avatars were awesome. I liked almost every artist there. Also, seem to have the same taste in music as the members here. Feels like home.

Hello Palina. I too, am a former INFP who stopped being immured in all of those pesky emotions. Folks here are split on whether core personality can change or not, so don't take it personal when they disagree.

Welcome, Palina!

Glad you liked the avatars. If you want help sorting out which type you are, exactly, the MBTI and Personality Theories subforum is the best place for that.

Enjoy the forum.

This is probably why you scored as INFP. Same thing happened to me. I found analyzing my personality in terms of MBTI functions to be most helpful in getting my correct type.

But in terms of the big picture, it doesn't really matter what type you are. Welcome.

Whether or not you have feelings is irrelevant to type. Thinking vs feeling refers to your method of making decisions.

Oh, I almost never take anything personally and that's one of my pet peeves with sensitive people. They think everything is a jab at them. I joined an some other forum for a little bit, but they quickly hated me. Seems to me that they need to quit taking everything so seriously and maybe if they didn't think everything was about them, they'd be less sad.
