Welcome to INTJforum!

If you're reading this, it probably means that you're new to the place, and are wondering how things work around here. Either that, or you're very bored. I'll assume the former.

Right now you're in the Introductions section, where we hope you'll make a thread to tell us a bit about yourself, how you found the place and/or what you're interested in finding here; doing so will get your post count rolling. Make a second post, perhaps in one of the many discussions throughout the forum, and you'll be able to see links and images; a few other sections will become available to you with progressively higher post counts. Please note that spamming posts to raise your post count is not permitted.

Right below Introductions, on the main Forum Index, you'll find Support & Feedback, where you can create a thread if you have difficulty with some aspect of forum functionality.

Next, there are several sections, grouped into The Mind and Behavior and The World Beyond. This is the heart of the discussion forum, with debate and conversation about a plethora of topics. Posts made in these sections are expected to be relevant to the topic at hand, and are moderated accordingly.

You'll also notice, in these topical sections, a list of tags relevant to that subforum at the top of the page. Clicking on one will bring up a list of threads tagged with that label, and you'll be able to add tags to threads that you create yourself.

If you're looking for something a little less serious, The Community is the home of lighthearted banter, member blogs, and games, just to name a few things. This is the place to go if you just want to unwind, or to discuss some random thought that doesn't really fit elsewhere. To the same purpose, you can also join us in the chatroom; you can connect directly at that link, but it's probably better to download one of the clients listed there, and connect through that. Please use the same name in the chat as you do on the forum.

A lot of forum functionality can be accessed via your User CP (look below the "INTJforum" banner, at the top left.) Here, for example, you can choose an avatar using the Edit Avatar option. There are avatar galleries, where you can choose a ready made avatar, or you can upload your own custom image. For help resizing a custom image, visit the Avatar Design subforum, in the Community section.

In the top right of the screen, you'll see links to your own profile (complete with visitor wall,) a link to see the newest unread posts, and a link to your Private Messages section, where you can send and receive - you guessed it - private messages.

For more information about the forum, check out the FAQ section, which includes the rules, and the newbie friendly INTJ Forum Reference Guide. Take a look at these when you have time.

If you have questions not covered by these links, you can ask for help in your introduction thread, create a thread in the Support & Feedback subforum already mentioned, or send a private message (PM) to one of the moderators.

Please, enjoy the forum.
