I was kind of surprised that there isn't already a post on this. So am I the only one who reads any? Here are a few of my favorites, if you're curious:

-Megatokyo
-Applegeeks
-8-Bit Theater
-Real Life Comics
-Dresden Codak
-Xkcd
-Questionable Content
-Dinosaur Comics

Certainly not! I read many webcomics. Enough to make a giant list, in fact.

Webcomics I enjoy reading:

-VGCats
-xkcd
-Dr. McNinja (Hit or miss, but more hit than miss)
-Erfworld and Order of the Stick

Webcomics I check out of habit:

-Errant Story
-El Goonish Shive
-Dominic Deegan
-Misfile
-Pastel Defender Heliotrope
-Kagerou
-Questionable Content
-Shortpacked (I do enjoy one or two)
-Bob and George (Fancomics/Subcomics)
-Elf Only Inn (pretty enjoyable, if only it would update more)
-The comics at manga.clone-army.org

Webcomics I no longer check or check very infrequently:

-SGVY
-Maq #041
-PvP
-8-Bit Theater

Webcomics I don't check anymore because they've ended:

-Kid Radd (great comic)
-RPG World
-Adventurers!
-Joe and Pip (obscure and interesting sprite comic)
-Stubble (read out of habit while it was going on)
-Unicorn Jelly

Overrated comics:

-Megatokyo
-Penny Arcade
-Overcompensating

My webcomics usually fall into either my gaming interests, my interests in gender perceptions and hijinks with that, or my interests in engrossing worlds. Humor is a plus, though I haven't laughed out loud at a comic in a very long time.

Apple Geeks
Black Tapestries
CtrlAltDel-Online
DrMcNinja
Elftor
Erfworld & Order of the Stick
Freefall (freefall.purrsia.com)
Least I Could Do
Little Gamers (These dudes rock)
Nukees
Nuklear Power
Punch an Pie (sequel to the also read Queen of Wands)
PennyandAggie
Penny-Arcade (yeah it's good but not as good as everyone says)
Real Life (Greg Dean - This used to be good before he got married.)
Red Meat
Sexy Losers
Something Positive, Classically Positive, Rhymes with Witch, Midnight Macabre, New Gold Dreams (Randy Milholland - God of Webcomics)
StripTease
Three panel soul
Userfriendly
xkcd (utterly magnificent)

Finished and Dead Webcomics
Goodbye Ball and Chain - appears as if the artist has finished with it, hasnt updated since early last year
Queen of Wands - Great comic, the characters continue in two different comics; SomethingPositive and PunchanPie
Demonology 101 - Great comic had a story, and an end.

The traditional "Professional" comics are bloody expensive these days and full of ads (30-50%) and too few of them come up to the standard that these online ones have. Generally if they do they surpass it, but the authors dont have to get work elsewhere and are generally teams of people working on them. Batman, Sandman, Lucifer. These are the only Professional Comics that come close to these.

I predict that there will not be a single person in this thread, or indeed in this forum, who does not like xkcd.

ctrl+alt+del
xkcd
wulff morgenthaler (it's a weird danish comic)

I also read Dinosaur Comics and the Perry Bible Fellowship, but they are printed in the local free paper, so I don't read them online...

I used to read Megatokyo back in the day, but I got out of habit of reading it so I have to start over at the beginning and I haven't had that chance yet.

Order of the Stick and Last Blood. The only ones that have kept me interested even after so long.

Been checking VGcats for ages now, and recently re-discovered xkcd. Someone showed me a few of their comics, I laughed my ass off, but they never told me the name of the site >(

I don't check many others. (I do constantly check bash.org, but that's not a comic >.>)

would be on here a lot. One of the few webcomics I have read that has updated daily, with rare exception for years. Ctrl-Alt-Del is also good.

Some dead ones that I used to read:
Bob and George
Avalon High
RPG World
Kid Radd

These are my absolute favourites. The writers/artists are pretty good about updating them, and the stories are excellent. OOTS is the only one that doesn't have a set schedule, but updates are frequently enough that I don't give up hope, and the quality is such that I still check it every day. XKCD is the only one that doesn't have a set storyline, but it is still awesome. Aside from these, I follow a varying number of other webcomics, but these are the best.
