I hope to find this forum to be as interesting as it seems... I found out I'm an INTJ through an online test in a dating site (cupid something or other). This happened a while ago. Ever since, I've done a good deal of online research and found myself described to a tee quite often.

I often wonder if I had taken the test a few months before, the result would've been different. The reason for that is that prior to taking the test I went through a journey of self-realization, and self-acceptance. Thus, if I had not started to do that, could I have been able to see myself in the test results?

Hope to enjoy this forum and keep on rocking!

Ps. Boy, I spent like 10 minutes to come up with the last sentence...

Welcome, I'm a y'all guy as well. What i wonder on occasion is how early in my life, at what age would i have tested as an INTJ. Way before any self awareness i think i would have been pegged.

I love saying y'all and howdy, although I live in Canada :0)

I think (of course?) that I would had tested INTJ even before I became self-aware. What made a difference is that this was a culmination of a process I was going through. It really did validate what I was "discovering" about myself.

Sounds like a chicken or egg question to me. It's all part of the process, you see what you are ready to see.

Welcome to the forum.

Being a native of the southern U.S., I find myself able to distinguish various "y'alls" from around the country; however, I don't know if that is a GOOD thing or a very BAD thing! LOL

Welcome! I don't think it would have made a difference when you took the test. If you had taken it before (and answered honestly), I think the questions might have forced you to take a closer look at yourself. Either way, it would have been a good thing.
