Hi!

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to have discovered this forum! At least I can now communicate with other like-minded people. Lately, I was thinking that I just don't want any friends (ever since my closest friends all moved away a few years back)...but I think my problem is really that I am picky when it comes to whom I will befriend. Most people just don't interest me, and they're boring to me. I don't have any desire to get to know most people, and I kind of feel bad about that. I know a few people from my job who invite me to hang out sometimes, and I just don't want to, so I make up an excuse, usually.

My boyfriend is the absolute only person who understands me 100%, because he is also an introverted pseudo-intellectual like myself. I had previously dated a guy where I felt so much pressure to act like I really had a social life, when I just...didn't, and didn't care to. He just had so many friends...it ended up not working, and I'm glad I've found the person I'm with now.

But anyway enough rambling, nice to meet you all! : - D

I suggest you get to know a few, and then maybe you won't feel so bad about not knowing the rest. Welcome.
