This is an interesting question, because I've noticed that extroverts tend to be more photogenic than introverts. Are you guys particularly photogenic? Do you agree or disagree with this hypothesis? If you agree, can you think up any reason why? :P

i rarely look good in pictures...
it is because i have a rather large nose and asymmetrical face and find it unnatural to pose and smile for pictures... however pictures of me in action seem to turn out much better... i think my unease expresses itself in facial features and body language that the camera freezes in time |

When I was younger I was consistently scolded for appearing "unhappy" in photos. People would question my mum if I was afflicted with a major depressive disorder since I couldn't (probably still can't) smile naturally. I've been told you can "practise" a smile... but that seems to be odd to me since smiling should be something intuitive.
The photos that people usually see of me are ones that portray me neck-down and from their perspective, I don't look bad at all. |

I'm guessing extroverts are better at showing things physically.
I've gotten better at being photogenic. Literally, I got better; I started to pay attention to how to smile and stuff so I stopped looking like I was plotting something or angry with something. But still, when I take serious pictures (like for ID's and Grad photos) I look evil. :-[ |

Me, I wouldn't say that I was particularly photogenic. I'd categorize my look as "unremarkable".
Post pictures! EEEK! |

When I was less than about six I was extremely photogenic. I was exceptionally cute, even for a little kid and I liked having my picture taken. That went away the older I got and I forgot how to fake smile. I taught myself again in high school.

No, you're just one of the brave ones. I've got a picture of me and my car (BTW, that's my car), but it looks better than I do :-/ |

I take terrible pictures, and usually hate having my picture taken by anyone. That is me in my avatar.

I generally looked pretty bad in pictures until one day I memorized how not to be. It's reflex now and I don't even think about it. I'm apparently very photogenic o.0 |

Well the problem with that is when you're caught in a photo unawares. |

I absolutely hate posing for pictures. I usually end up making weird faces in most of my pictures because I feel so awkward.
Excellent, looks you need to visit |

It depends from what angle you take the photo. Since i have a large forehead and a long chin, I'll look disastrous from angles showing those parts of me. Other than that I look... okay (in a scale of 1-10 it's about 7)

If anyone wants to call me a camwhore... the only reason would be because it takes too many tries to get a good picture |

that's why i bought an extra 1gb xd card lol... neway... i also agree with Javenne. it also depends on the angle. when my mom forced (and bribed) me to enroll in a modeling school (she was hoping my boyish gestures would magically disappear like pimples but they never succeeded!!!!) we were taught to figure our what our best look/profile would be in different camera angles. i figured out i look best when i don't smile although some people would think otherwise... i think beauty is relative anyway

I've just been going through my pictures (for that other thread... *curses Jezebel for starting it*) And I realized I look really different at different angles... It could probably make the difference b/w 10 years in age.

I also look very different from different angles. I hate it because I can't get a good idea of what I look like. I'm always told I look young for my age regardless, though. |
