Just went from a cautiously optomistic +4 to a -5 when I was told that the boards I wanted to take are full up until 1/20/10. Now I have to go find a job. Ho. Ho. Ho...

5. I am stressed beyond belief, but today was a clinical day, so I actually got to interact with patients and remember what I'm even doing in school. Someone told me that I did a good job, which hasn't happened in ages.

Relatively good ... since my vitriol is so intense right now that it's ironically clouding out more negative thoughts

The countdown has started on Dec. 1st: so, -7 today; -25 on Christmas Day. I hate Christmas, for many reasons.
I'll be back to 1 on Dec. 26 and should reach a decent 7 on Jan. 1st. But the 0 might show up on Jan. 5th when I'll be back to work.
Oh, well, that's life.

There comes a point where all the horrible things in your life that are beyond your control pile up so high that it becomes so fucking absurd, it's mildly funny.

-9. I spend 2 1/2 hours out in the blistering cold taking astrophotographs, finally finish, finally get back to my apartment, finally start to regain feeling in my toes, then the fire alarm goes off.

2. Testing-palooza starts today, which is going to be both stressful and painful. I'm still sad. But finally there is light at the end of the tunnel, and despite everything else, it makes me optimistic.

Nothing went horribly wrong in my life today... which is a nice change from the past month an a half.

4. The hardships of the last 24 hours have reminded me of the importance of staying strong. Besides, there's nowhere to go but up right now.

Dog ran off, about a kilometre up the road. Must've walked/ran three or four kilometres to find him.
Just sat down and was told to go clean up piles of wood.
