I know as soon as I hit post, I'll remember someone important...

Takeshi Kovacs, from the Richard K Morgan novels

Sherlock Holmes and Watson (how can you split them up?)

Riddick

Hellboy, Liz and Fishstick

Nny from JTHM

Daniel Plainview, because he's so crazy.

Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho

Folken from Escaflowne

Vaselli Zeitsev from the book (although the movie was diverting)

Dean Winchester

and, saving the best for last, Frank Pembleton from Homicide.

I was thinking about who to put from Homicide and I couldn't decide because I love so many characters from that show... but, yeah Pembleton is awesome, Julianna Cox too and Meldrick (

Yeah, I had a really hard time not adding EVERYONE from Homicide. My cat had kittens last spring, and I named two of them Pembleton and Meldrick. I have to say... of the two, I ended up keeping Meldrick. <3

Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini)--passionate, complicated, fascinating

Dr. Melfi for me; beautiful, intelligent, and cautious. I also had man-crushes on Johnny Sack, Silvio Dante, and Richie Aprile. Oh, and Father Phil too...

I found these 2 quotes on the 1st page and thought the 2nd answered the first.

  2. The Terminator
  3. The Borg
  4. Sauron
  5. The Daleks
  6. James Bond Villains

Has anyone noticed that Hollywood tends to demonize logical-analytical thinking? Is this a pro-emotion campaign of some kind where the intellect must be made into an enemy? I'm not sure I get it.

R. Daneel Olivaw (The Robot Novels by Isaac Asimov)
Dr. Gregory House/Dr. Perry Cox (similar enough that I could go with either)
Sherlock Holmes
Kryton (Red Dwarf)

And since I love Star Trek so much, I'll just give it its own section:
Data (TNG)
Odo (DS9)
Spock (TOS)
Worf (TNG)

Personally I have a serious case of the warm fuzzies for Angie (played by Constance Marie on the George Lopez show) and Nina Van Horn (Just Shoot Me).

Captain Antonio Corelli - from Captain Corelli's Mandolin
Possibly the most beautiful book ever written. If he weren't a fictional character I would have married him already.

Snape
Sherlock Holmes
Ben from Lost
The Doctor (Doctor Who) (And David Tennant, for that matter)

I'm sure there are many others that I've momentarily forgotten.

I don't know about anyone else, but the Sherlock Holmes from the movie is sexy.

Yes! I agree - and Jude Law, as always

As you can see, I have the hots for Long Silver Haired guys, as well as Humoures laid back styles, as well as Gunslingers.

...And a Vampiric, Long Silver Haired Gunslinger? Thats just sexy on new levels never before seen!
To bad Zero's hair isn't longer, He'd make my #2. But he'd never pass Alucard, For he is sexy beyond thy eyes visionary reach! *Marvels at his elegance*

Infact, I like long haired anime/game guys so much, that my hair is actually just like the picture in my display. Sadly how ever, its dark brown/black. Not silver

Well, I'm usually not in love with any fiction characters but I connect best with:

Mia from Pulp Fiction
Bill from Kill Bill
Zoe Bell (as herself) and Arleen from Death Proof (sense a pattern? :P )
The Lepper King (I forget his name) from Kingdom of Heaven (pattern broken)
Richard the 3rd and Queen Margret from Richard the Third (by Shakespeare).

I can easily connect with female and male characters, I feel. I also notice that all my characters have some kind of status.

Scryer:

The pattern I sense (at least for the first few) is stone cold female murderers/assassins in general and characters played by Uma Thurman for the first two.

I'm a closet HP fan and my favourite character is Draco Malfoy.

Recently, I'm falling in love with Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

All over the board here... not in love, just enjoy the characters

The boy in blue (Superman)
Lex Luthor
Doomsday - OK, these are about absolutes... power, hate, and corruption.

Mr. Clark (ala Tom Clancy novels, not movies)
The Tick (both the cartoon and the brief TV series)
Khan (Star Trek, not Ghengis)
Doc Ock
Dr Cox/House - Same Character in Comedy vs Drama
Fletch
Danny Ocean

Many more, but I'll stop for now.

Jean Valjean (Les Miserables)
Severus Snape (Harry Potter)
Louis dePointe duLac (Vampire Chronicles)
King Theoden (Lord of the Rings)
Ryuuzaki/L (Death Note)

A special woman crush on Elphaba Thropp (Wicked)

I'm sensing a theme here: Idealists with crooked faith. I do love tragic, refined older gentlemen.
