It is said that wide grip pull ups are best to improve the size of the lats.
However someone argued that wide grip pull ups do not involve the contraction of the lats as much as the narrow chin ups and said to watch the different movements to see it. I have had a quick look on youtube but most don't have defined muscles in order to see it. Please can someone tell me if there is an animation of this and other muscle contractions? |

Bent over rows and shrugs should hit all of your back, just stick with those and everything should turn out nice and proportional after a while.
