Granted. The time machine sends you back, so that you start painting at the age of 6 months. You are hailed as a genius. However, artists are always starving, poor, and die young. You die before you can write this. Therefore, this wish doesn't exist anymore. Nor does my answer.

I wish we all had individual space jets (instead of cars) for flying to work in, just like they promised 40 years ago.

Granted, but the jets produce 5x the pollution of a regular car. The rate of global warming increases and soon, the unthinkable happens.

I wish for a new computer.

Granted. However they make it a Kinect-exclusive game where every single action has to be mimed. You get breathless during the tutorial and throw the game away.
