Granted. The rain stops suspended in midair. It creates a beautiful effect of floating water droplets but eventually the sheer volume causes the wishpower to quaver and it all drops at once as the wish gives way. Needless to say, the six hundred survivors (of which you are one) left on Earth are a bit miffed when they find it is your fault. It makes their decision of who to cannibalize first that much easier.
