Under 18 rule. None

I don't see the need for the under 18 rule. 13 year and older people now seem to cuss all day and look at adult movies. I don't see what adult content they can see here besides the stuff they already see on a day to day basis.

Because, generally speaking, they won't have much to add to the forum except utter nonsense. I, for one, am glad this rule's in place. Not to say that teenagers can't add healthy, mature discussions, but as a rule of thumb: it's not likely to happen but for a small percentage. That small percentage is not worth the abundance of immature idiots that will try to post on the forum. The mod's already have their work cut out for them as is.

/End harsh semi-rant.

What if a minor has permission from his parents or guardians. You should add that option.

There's no way to prove it's the actual parents that are giving permission. It still opens them up to legal action if the parents later revoke their consent.
