Old or new, let us know what movies and tv shows you have seen recently, and what you thought of them.

I'll start things off.

Recently re-watched the series Trigun. Its a totally awesome space western anime with lots of humor.

Also watched Lesbian Vampire Killers movie last night. It was completely lame. It was not at all funny, had far too little gore and barely any lesbian action in the whole movie!!

Just watched The Spirit.

WTF was Frank Miller smoking.

Samuel L Jackson gives a speech in a Nazi costume for no apparent reason.

As terrible as it was I have to admit I still enjoyed it though.

Fast & Furious - It was as bad as expected but still alright for just a mindless action flick.

I watched 4 hours of the IT crowd last night. Hilarious.

I can't remember that last time I laughed that hard.

How dare you criticize all four of Paul Walker's wooden facial expressions, the fast and the furious was a cinematic masterpiece. To say anything else is sacrilege.

I saw the new pixar movie Up at the week end; it made me cry which is very unlike me... I thought it was pretty good, at least the first half.

The only TV show I'm watching at the moment is True Blood...I think it's silly and funny and pretty smart.

Watched a movie called Bob Funk last night. Comedy - was alright, nothing special.

Watched last night Escape from New York from television. It's really impressive-looking visually for a early 80's movie. The plot wasn't much special, but the action-scenes were pretty cool.

If you like it you should watch Escape from LA and Big Trouble in Little China, both starring Kurt Russel and directed by John Carpenter like Escape from New York.

Just watched Land of the Lost. Another mediocre comedy for Will Ferrel. Had its funny moments but overall very average.

I've been watching the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (yes I know I'm very behind the times). It's very good though for light entertainment.
I also watched a great show called The Supersizers... (this one was in the 1920s style). It's very amusing, educational and strange.

Took me a little while to get into this show (the IT crowd), though I like it now.

Yeah the fact that it's laugh tracked made me immediately want to hate it, although I gave it a chance and was glad I did.

Last night I was watching the final series of Battlestar Galactica that I got off a friend last friday. I'm up to the final hour and a half movie, and there is a part of me that doesn't want to watch it because then everything will be over. :'(

I also recently saw the Caprica Pilot, and am looking forward to that show.

I don't know if this counts, but I was looking at the promo stuff for Tim Burton's remake of Alice In Wonderland, and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Of course, Tim Burton is having Johnny Depp in the movie (they really do work well together), and it looks like a dark interpretation of the story.

can't wait!

I just watched all 3 X-men movies, 1 & 2 last night and the third today. The only problem I had with these films was the fact that Magneto was the villain in every single one of them, not the only one but still. I haven't read the comic books but I'm pretty sure they could've gotten some different villains and plotlines at least in the second or third film. But still, very entertaining movies, my favorite would be 2nd, it really tells a great deal about Wolverine's past, some say even in a better way than the Origins-film. Have to see that when released on dvd.

I was taken to see the new Harry Potter film (I hate the books and I'm apathetic to the films). It wasn't too bad, just very....very light 'entertainment'.

" in the original Japanese. The competitors that pass the first stage have such incredible upper-body strength that I feel exhausted just watching them complete the obstacles. It's a "see to believe." The serious athletes are refreshingly humble and polite, a joy to experience. The version I'm watching has the original announcer with subtitles and his humor and enthusiasm carry the show when the competition is less than spectacular.

Vash from Trigun reminds me of Wall-E.

Or maybe Wall-E reminds me of Vash. Knives is supposedly an INTJ, but I don't want to be associated with a genocidal lunatic.

I don't really watch to0 many shows. Probably since I spend most of my free time making YouTube videos of demented doom. Hrm. If I had to pick a show that I actually do watch, it would be NCIS. Also Burn Notice. As for movies, I'd go with Crimewave (which also reminds me of WALL-E).

Note: WALL-E is the current standard by which I measure movies, so a lot of movies and/or characters tend to remind me of WALL-E (either the movie in its entirety and/or the character Wall-E himself). Vic Ajax, the everyday-joe-turned-hero in Crimewave, definately reminds me of Wall-E.

Before WALL-E, the standard by which I measured movies was Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn.

I've been watching almost no TV lately because I want to work on my goals.
I watch big brother, but I'm not nearly as into it as I used to be.
I always watch Survivor. That's my favorite show.
I like reality shows.
I also used to watch a lot of PBS shows.
There's usually not much on TV I like to watch besides PBS shows.

Tritto on Dexter. I can only seem to follow one television series at a time, Dexter replaced Battlestar Galactica.

I've not watched a movie in a while, but was watching a Frisky Dingo marathon a few days ago.
