I'm an ESTP. My friend recommended this forum to me a couple weeks ago, but I didn't get around to setting up an account till now. Looking through threads, I find that many of the discussions overlap with talks I have with close friends. Excited to be here!

Welcome.

We don't get many ESTPs wandering in, prepare to be dissected. Calm down, not literally, but we will try and find out how your mind works.

Stand still so I can insert this probe.

Welcome, probed-guy. Sometimes we reword things too... but we generally get it right the first time.

We are glad that you are here. The last ESTP that came through here was stuffed and placed in the Forum library foyer in an embarrassing pose. I seem to recall someone suggesting that if we ever got a second one, we could use them as bookends....

Haha, I look forward to it! I'm best friends with an INTJ and have been reading these forums for a couple weeks now. We've decided that we get along so well because were both relatively intelligent and take a particular interest in critical thinking...although I'm pretty sure we arrive at the same destination via very different paths.

As for the probing, please, be my guest. I'm still not even sure how my mind works so if you can figure it out, drop me a line. I'm also interested to engage in discussions with you guys to better understand your clan.

Welcome, redrower!

Excited to have you! Especially being ESTP, which may be the very rarest type on this forum (though don't quote me on that.) Looking forward to your input.

Check out the forum reference guide here. It has a summary of what type of posting is, and is not, allowed/encouraged on the forum. I recommend looking at it to avoid ridicule, post deletion, and possible death.

If you're looking for more info than that, you can read almost everything you need to know about the forum here, and a few more miscellaneous questions about forum features are answered by this thread here.

Please, enjoy!
