I want to get a job next summer to start saving up for my first house/car or whatever. So I need suggestions on a starting job. Not a career, but just some part-time gig. I don't want to do any thing in the food industry, waiter or anything like that. But as an INTJ, what jobs of that level would be satisfying? Anything? I'd prefer something not social obviously, and that hopefully requires half a brain. All constructive input is welcome, thank you.

Why dont you try interning (with pay of coarse) at an engineering firm. Thats what i plan on doing this summer and im really looking forward to it. Im right brained so i was also thinking of Architecture. Either way ill probably filing things and wont have to socialize. Yay. I dont know if this helps, but hope it turns out alright.

Don't do inventory work. The introvert in me loves it, because I'll be in an aisle in Publix counting stuff, and for the first two hours before the store opens nobody bothers me. But the work itself is extremely repetitive and boring, and the 5:00 am start times don't help matters any.
