Welcome.
Are you, by chance, laconic, too?

I fear all of these enthusiastic newbs are going to use up our supply of exclamation points ( ! ). More than once I've seen a long time member who planned on using one being denied due to these careless individuals. I think it may be necessary to create a rule governing the use of certain forms of punctuation by users of fewer than forty posts. Has anyone else noticed the indiscriminate use of quotation marks ( " ), colons ( : ), semi-colons ( ; ), brackets ( [ ] ) and even parentheses ( ( ) )... ...in these introduction threads? It's time we take action, before they are all used up and we are left to communicate using only periods ( . ), questions marks ( ? ), dashes ( - ), and commas ( , ).

Who's with me?

By the way, welcome to the forum, dan!*

*Note - For the record, my superior post count grants me the privilege of using both the exclamation point ( ! ) and the almost sacred asterisk ( * ). If I was you, I would not dare attempt using the latter until you have at least 2,000 posts to your name.

How is the asterisk almost sacred? Educate me. I've missed these unwritten rules...

I dunno...those commas are pretty handy.

It's spelled "two". I'm holding out for the model III's myself. They are supposed to have "personalities"... whatever that is.
