I used to live in austin where there were a few INTJs, but now I moved to Midland. It's a smaller
city and so proportionately, there might be 9 others here....having a hard time finding any though. |

You just found an abundance of INTJs right here, there are even a few from Texas. The rest of us avoid those ones.
I jest. Welcome to the forum. |

Welcome fellow Texan. I had an INFJ friend that lived in Midland, but he lives in Austin now. Funny how that works.

I was born in Dallas. I didn't stay because of the garbage shortage. I now live in Florida, where we have garbage galore.

Howdy Texan
I once lived in Longview Texas. People in that town are obsessed with chores! OMG! I thought I was going to have to be placed in a mental institute. On the other hand the people were great, friendly(well ok you know I am fibbing), all around good people. Soanyway, welcome to the forum! |

Welcome, aranae!
West Texas, eh? Anything worth seeing out there? If you're sticking around, you can check out the rules here, and a great thread about using all the neat forum features is here. Please, enjoy! |

Hmm, yeah I could imagine a lot of INTJs in a place like Austin. I'm in San Marcos (~26 miles from Austin) myself and after being here since last summer, it was been a world of difference from San Antonio *shudders*.

Welcome, Texan. I went to college in San Antonio. There are things to like about it. Cheap housing, good food. San Marcos is a really great place, at least to visit.

i just hate that it is horrible for single people and it is hard to find people in my age range with any ambition there

I am not from Texas, nor have I ever visited. I have a lot of preconceived ideas about the people, though.
We can still be cyber-neighbours though. Welcome! |

I've driven the length and breadth of Texas. It took me 3 years. I'm still recovering. (That's a Texas-sized joke pardner!)
Welcome. |

After you graduate from texas state, you can either move to austin or some other big city, or stay in san marcos and be the only person your age in the entire city. OR you can commute an hour to work in Austin....hmmm choices choices.

I lived in San Angelo, TX for 6 months. The hardest part was that nobody understood sarcasm. I had to bite my tongue for an entire 6 months and then I moved back to the midwest.

I grew up in Tyler, TX not too far down the road. Can't say I noticed an obsession with chores, but then again there wasn't a whole lot to do, so maybe people used chores to fill their time? On a side note, I blame East Texas for my hatred of pine trees. |
