I remember watching this video a while back and wondering what that sound was. Maybe some sort of echo location or gyroscopic apparatus. No idea really. That robot is amazing though. When the guy kicks it and when it is on the ice are especially entertaining parts of the clip.

Big dog sounds like some motors and shit like that. There is a humanoid robot that plays the violin incredibly well for a machine, especially a machine like itself.
