So a dark cloud............

descends upon the psyche like a plague, and you are left wondering what happened to the light. Where is any hope been exiled to? Is this an INTJ thing, or does it have more to do with knowing what exactly is coming?

I think I'm in that same black cloud, prometheus. So not just an intj thing.

What really disturbs me is that I have a suspicion there is also a precipitous cliff somewhere in all this blackness, and without being able to see, I'm liable to walk right off the edge.

*Does a psyche hitting the bottom of the pit of eternal despair make a sound if there's no one there to hear?

"Just" a tourist eh? Some how I doubt that. I'm here on active duty. I hear the clock ticking all the time, and the stampeding feet of lemmings, and I wake up with my guts twisted in anxiety, and every time I think there's hope some human proves again there's not.

Except some days I remember there's more than one corollary to the mass suicide of the species. And some of those corollaries let through more light... enough to lift the blackness.

Our primary fight, I think, is to not become the blackness all about us. There is light beyond the bottleneck.
