Hello,

My first experience with MBTI came through high-school when I was given a test for orientation purposes. My results came back as INTJ and, though my guidance counselor thought it odd that I be an introvert rather than an extrovert, I knew the it to be accurate in my case.

I thought nothing of it other than the compare and contrast that inevitably results amongst friends at a high school until one day, quite recently, I had an epiphany: I enjoy systems. A friend of mine, who studies psychology, responded with a "Yes, of course" before pointing out that I was an INTJ.

That led me to read about it more in-depth and caused me to smile: a system for understanding people. The same people who sometimes perplex me to no end(my mother, an ISFJ). And so, here I am.

Hi.

I am at the moment writing a lengthy indictment against our century. When my brain begins to reel from my literary labors, I make an occasional cheese dip.

Welcome to the forum! I like systems too. Have you heard they have a system for categorizing how hot a chili pepper is?

I got excited too.

Welcome to the forum Merrix!

I love systems too and systems to understand people make me excited too. I'm not big on labels, but tools to understand people I'm always glad to learn. See you 'round the threads!

This is a great place to compare and contrast, INTJs come in slightly different flavours. Welcome.

HI, I find that the MBTI helps me deal with people once I type them. It makes interactions so much easier.
