I did not know that! So if I'm wandering around in a forest and I see a red head with backwards feet I should probably not pick that moment to chop down or smite a small forest creature eh?

Pretty much LOL. Put down the squirrel and walk away :P

I only know of it because once on a really bored day I read the entire list of mythical creatures around the world, combined with descriptions!!!

Nonetheless the curupira belongs here cause they're red heads

I know they're suppose to be "evil" but I don't think they are. I think they're just extreme environmentalists, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Well, it was fun being a redhead for a day, but I am a ginger no longer. Just to show that I was here, I'll leave the original image as my mark in the guestbook.

The curupira is a myth so functional is not really applicable. I think the reasoning for that is, because it's a protective spirit, that sneaks up on people who destroy nature, the feet are backwards to confuse the hunters who follow a trace. So that it can outsmart them

Anyone who colors thier hair the color of tomatos....surely must be colorblind,...if they arent the 'little mermaid', then they are nuts for having red hair. the only redheads i have met are nutty.

And everyone knows that blondes are the best, smartest, prettiest, artistic, confident, human beings. Duh!

Sometimes it's important to be quiet for a while.
Listen Deeply.
Learn a little.
Labor well in obscurity.
Disappear.
Lose your life to find it.

This thread cracks me up! As a natural INTJ redhead I've never given a flying crap what other people think of my hair. It is however nice to see so many people on here that do appreciate the reds!
