I tend to agree that conspiracy theorists are rife with insanity....that being said, I'm in agreement with Ghostwheel and others on questions revolving around 9/11. Too many respected professionals have indicated that it's not plausible, that there are simply too many inconsistencies - a friend of mine is a structural engineer, he said he too has questions regarding the physics and plausibility of all of the towers....but absolutely believes that WTC7 was taken down on purpose.

I also am skeptical that it's a 100% a conspiracy theory insomuch that it was engineered by our government, too many people would talk (that's my problem with conspiracy theories, there's a supposition that humans have an infallible ability to keep their fool mouths shut, simply untrue....someone would say something, especially in a conspiracy the size of 9-11)

However, I do believe that it was in the best interest of the military industrial complex to enter into two wars as a result. Foreknowledge? Possibly. Collusion? Unlikely.

Avarice and opportunism are a powerful impetus to let it play out IMO

Plus, everyone knows that anyone who has the audacity to question it is a hack anyways...how do we know this? Because we were told to.
