27 And those who wrote this test had better not accuse me of Asperger Syndrome or they shall all learn the bitter truth or my lack of Empathy.

32. Hm... That's lower than I expected. I suppose understanding other people's feelings doesn't matter much when you don't react emotionally to them.

I'm curious what fellow INTJ's answered in the animal questions. Do you favor animals over humans?

Yup, they aren't wrecking the planet. 32, but I'm working on it . . .

I am not suprised, as I actually do have Asperger's Syndrome.

27... Man I thought for sure I'd score higher than that. I really am a social boob.

Your score: 35

Well, I guess this what I get for living at a very emotionally mushy driven country. :/

63, probably higher, but -

I don't know how it is that half the questions are actually supposed to measure empathy, unless it is some extraverted variation [and correlates], where you not only absorb & reflect whatever other persons/films/books throw at you, but actually enjoy it and seek it out yourself...?!

I'm average - yet a median between average of male and female or something. O_o whatever. Lol.

Empathy quotient

Instructions

Select your gender (this is required) and (if you like) enter your name.
Read each of the following 60 statements very carefully and state how strongly you agree or disagree with it. When you've answered all the questions, press the 'Get score' button at the bottom to see your results.
Return to home page.
Your score: 44
0 - 32 = low (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20)
33 - 52 = average (most women score about 47 and most men score about 42)
53 - 63 is above average
64 - 80 is very high
80 is maximum

Female
Male

17. I can understand and cope with social situations just fine, it's just that quite often I chose not to. I much prefer being completely inhuman, then people get surprised when you show emotions!
