You're not making a point at all. You're stating observations filtered through your head. Cause and effect are jumbled together because you haven't sorted them out.

There have been cases where people/kids who were untrained with guns in the traditional sense, but had played first person shooters, went out and shot a lot of people. Some 'experts' on the news said they killed as many people as they did because they copied what they did on video games.

Case in point. You have three classes of people: those who play video games, those who are mentally imbalanced, and those who kill. In one statement, you've snowballed them all together and attempted to toss it. This willy-nilly, sloppy thinking isn't cohesive enough for a retort.

It is if all three kinds of tendencies reside in someone or some people who play video games. A certain percentage of people are going to hit the jack pot for the three nutter symbols and society will collect on those winnings. How many toe tags will there be next time?

What if what I imagined was true? There wouldn't be a need to think! I could just make everything happen by wishing it!

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts it would be Christmas year round.

Video games are a form of training. People use training to do things they did not know how to do before. Are you seriously suggesting everyone who plays video games is sane and moral and would never try to hurt anyone based on anything they learned in a game?

I like playing FPS games too, so don't go thinking I'm for banning them. Except for Mass Effect 3. The people who made that should be castrated.

Just wondering, why is he assumed to be right wing other than the media reports? What was there about what he said or did that indicated he was right wing?

The media always talks about the salute he gave in court but the salute was with a closed fist which is more commonly associated with left wing groups or activists.

The issue is political, and there are many clear features of Breivik that helps classify him politically as right-winged.

The raised fist symbol has been used by both left-winged and right-winged groups to represent unity among oppressed people, both black power and white power groups have used it. The fist salute on the other hand is usually used by left-winged groups but Breivik, on page 1102 in his manifesto made it clear why he raised his fist;

"Military salutation of the PCCTS, Knights Templar
The military salutation of the PCCTS, Knights Templar is the clenched fist salute. The
raised fist salute consists of raising the right arm with a clenched fist (preferably with a
white glove). The clenched fist symbolizes strength, honour and defiance against the
Marxist tyrants of Europe while the white glove symbolizes purity, duty, kinship and
martyrdom. Using the right arm symbolizes the tradition of the “Right Opposition”. The
salutation is in line with traditional usage, as we regard the present ruling multiculturalist
elites in Western Europe as left wing fascists. Our military salutation has nothing to do
with the so called “white power” salutation or the “Roman Salute” (Saluto Romano),
where the palm is faced down with fingers touching, often known as the Hitler Salute
used by National Socialists."
