I would personally define a passionate dating relationship as one where a smile is always on my face accomplished through strong emotions of affection, feelings, desire towards my SO.

INTJs, do you feel that an instant click with a person leads to a passionate dating relationship?

If there is no instant click, do you feel that a passionate dating relationship can develop?

Well, I don't know about the "constant smile" thing but personally speaking, as an INFJ woman, I only instantly click with someone if there is a mental connection first and foremost. The deeper and more significant the connection is, the more I find myself passionately drawn to the man.

I suppose it's possible to develop a passionate relationship in time. It would depend on many factors and the priorities of the two people involved. Personally speaking though, I need to recognize and feel that connection in the man right away or it just wont work out.

I feel the click when the physical attraction is matched by attraction to their personality. I think its the thing that'd make me want to date someone, but it doesn't always lead to a deep romantic relationship. 'Clicks' can be undone and completely obliterated by overwhelming character flaws.
