The best, long-term solution is obviously hydrogen fusion, and the ability to harness it is closer than you think. I predict that before we run out of petroleum hydrogen fusion power will be available.

Also, solar energy is becoming more and more efficient. With hydrogen fusion available solar energy will take on a strictly supplemental role.

Ok, you predict good for you. I'm skeptical of your prediction

Edit: PS I can't tell if it's your posting style or an intentional statement but since it will likely be centuries before 'we run out of petroleum'. So my skepticism is based on a timeline of ... oh ... how about ... my remaining lifetime of... 50 years ... which would make me a Centenarian :>)
