Actually, the Wittgenstein quote supports my post. The reason there would be no practical difference is because labeling reality as an illusion would be to merely relabel the exact evidence that we have to work with. It would be to change the word and not the definition, thus destroying any meaning the word "illusion" would've had and making it superfluous given that we already have a word to describe that set of evidence. |

Let me clarify, I'm not saying that "illusion" and "reality" are the same. I'm saying that to call "reality" "illusion" would be a mistake because the definitions in that particular case would be the same. And to do so would be to destroy the definition of illusion. Thus there would be no practical difference if we accept the claim that crow suggested. |
