From a theory/understanding standpoint:
Describe what you understand of these matters. Entertainment is fine, and so is the route of sincerity. |

I'm going to pick on the mods here. INTJ is someone who can't have fun and will refuse emotion and fun in others due to their jealousy in their inability to experience such basic emotions along with others. They also lack the ability to recognize to understand human interact ion can resolve their own conflicts.
---------- Post added 08-19-2012 at 08:40 AM ---------- Why was my post edited to remove EXPLICITIVE? I was talking about INTJ! (INTJ think bottom line is only thing that is important unless socialized. Bad for conflict resolution) (I keed.) ---------- Post added 08-19-2012 at 08:45 AM ---------- I feel like INTJ think "I am Batman". ---------- Post added 08-19-2012 at 09:04 AM ---------- INTJ part of predict, control, organize caste. Most hated as they are like SSH. Would link to external site which objectively and factually state all internet arguments are over when Nazi comparison made, but I'd be sent to concentration camp. ---------- Post added 08-19-2012 at 10:49 AM ---------- Stolen from an INFJ's account of an INTJ: "If he does feel the need to express something emotionally, it's vitally important that I give him a chance to completely express it. If I cut him off saying I understand, that's going to make him shut down. He needs to be able to express how he feels without a counterpoint and without interruption."

I'm going to try to describe INTJs in less than 10 adjectives. Let's see how this works:
1.) Analytical 2.) Logical 3.) Blunt 4.) Reserved 5.) Un-empathetic 6.) Funny (obviously extremely subjective) 7.) Original 8.) Serious 9.) Concise And now I will say whether these traits are good, bad, or neither/ both. 1.) Good 2.) Good 3.) Both (Helpful for getting a point across but sometimes makes you seem tactless and rude) 4.) Good (Think before speaking) 5.) Bad (ruins relationships) 6.) Both (something I've noticed is that INTJs I know (and me) make some off-color jokes during serious problems which offends some people, but it's good because usually it's hilarious) 7.) Both (Makes for an interesting person, but when you challenge social conventions, you ruffle some feathers.) 8.) Both (take some things too seriosly, and some things not seriously enough, realize the effects of actions) 9.) Both (explain things more quickly, but don't enjoy fluff words and long essays) Number 9 is something I noticed about me. It may be exclusive to me, but I put it up anyway. |

INTJ is a way of thinking. A way of thinking that involves solving problems on one's own through what feels like Eureka moments, organizing the world when solving the problem requires outside input, being confident about the solution thanks to a strong sense of independence, and a tendency to become hedonistic when stressed.
This way of thinking may result in similar conclusions about the world, but it doesn't say much about values and interests. I will have more in common with an ESFP who shares my values and interests than an INTJ who shares neither. |

Each INTJ is an anachronism
Even in structured environments, allowances for independence is necessary. |

INTJ is a classification of thinkers, who share Introverted intuition as their dominant function. As with most types, they have potential which can be tapped, but often isn't. Without a lot of work, an INTJ can be nothing more than Ni, Te, and a lot of emotional baggage that he cannot be bothered to handle. Fortunately, Ni is geared towards self reflection, so he can wise up eventually.

The INTJ has a vivid intuitive mind which constantly produces abstractions he deems absolutely necessary to dissect, structure, and systematize into logically coherent schemes. This is the INTJ's primary and natural mode from which he derives great pleasure. Science, study, and strategic planning nourish this natural mode.
The INTJ is fixated on ambitious internal goals which he seeks to realize, sometimes at the expense of human relations. Social considerations never hinder him from following the train of thought most obvious and logical to him. His drive to actualize his internal vision may sometimes lead him into exploring practical - rather than theoretical - fields. Due to his goal-orientation, he may be stubborn and short-sighted at times. The INTJ hates sentimentality, conventionality for its own sake, and trivial social interaction without any content meaningful to him. He has little understanding for erratic and inconsistent thought and behavior in others. Others may consider the INTJ's tendency for explicit logical analyses of theoretical and practical phenomena alike to be tedious. The INTJ has little respect for such people.
