I use Google calender, to plan out my day. It can text me whats on my agenda, as well, as remind me before the event. What about you guys do you also use Google, or do you write it down, or are you just a complete badass who can remember everything.

I never plan out my day.
If I want to do something or go somewhere, all I need is the directions to the location and I'm set. |

I have an appointment book (like a real book, made of paper) where I keep all my appointments and other things that would be a Big Deal if I forgot them. Usually I can remember everything else. With things I hate and put off forever if I let myself, I write to-do lists (on paper), usually with the rule that I must do at least one thing every day.
Planning out my days in more detail is actually on my to-do list right now. You know, the one of things I hate doing. I've been wasting too much time lately. |

Even If I try to make a plan it's useless. I tried a couple of times and failed miserably. I just take things as they come, do whatever I feel like doing and hope I don't forget any essential and urgent stuff that absolutely needs to be solved.
The worse is when I’m single and the weekend comes and I ask myself what the hell do I do now? Then some friends may call me and I join in. If they don't I spend the whole weekend playing games, writing stuff, and, worst of all, not eating anything the whole time because my fridge is always empty and I don't feel like going out.. At the end of such a weekend I feel unhealthy (hungry) and depressed and probably for good reasons. This is why I think living alone may is a bad idea for an INTP. Those who marry early are probably the ones becoming balanced and productive... |

I pretty well do the same thing as DaMonkey. Most of my work is project-based, so I tend to keep a list of current deliverables and the order I should work on them on my white board.
I'm also pretty religious about putting every event - work and social into my blackberry. |

Every time it comes to my attention that there is something I need to do, if I can't do it immediately I'll pen it on my list.
I read the entire list to load everything into my working memory, then write everything down in logical order as a schedule, making sure I don't miss anything. They usually cover about 48 hours. Then I sequentially working my way down my list, crossing things off as I complete them. As I complete them, new information becomes available and the circumstances change. I also think up and pen in new tasks that mess with the schedule. At some point half way through, the list is too messy and I write a new one. ---------- Post added 08-10-2012 at 11:54 PM ---------- When I'm content I've done enough, I'll zone out and go read a book. |

If it's packed with meetings, etc. I would have my day planned out in Google Calendar at least a week in advance. I always have that tab open in my browser so I can periodically look at it.
Otherwise, I have a general idea of what I want to accomplish for the day when I wake up. I don't have any set time that I need to get to work, so it's pretty leisurely. |

I don't plan out my day but if I do, I'd list them out in my phone app or something.

I have so much crap going on I unfortunately have a very crowded google calender, with some stuff planned many months in advance. (It gets depressing really to not have very much unstructured free time I so desperately need).

Woahhh whole lotta J there. I don't usually plan my entire day out, but sometimes I make mental notes like, "at time xx:xx I'll start doing y." I'll look at the clock to see how much longer I have till my next activity. If I go over the time, then who the fuck cares. |

If I plan out my day (and I don't on a regular basis), it's via some rather vague vignettes in my head. I'm not really sure what goes on with that.

All work related meetings are prescheduled in Outlook. The mac equivalent would be Calendar. I usually prefer late afternoons and early evenings for those. Timetables and project meetings for school are logged into my iPhone calendar. On a daily basis, the hardest tasks are planned for mornings because that's when I'm in top form.
<-- Basically useless and unproductive after lunchtime. Food slows me down. |

I make sure I don't have enough things going on in my life to have to plan out my day. I just go with the flow. I like a simple life.
The only thing I write down are appointments which are only doctors appointments and groomer appointments for my dog. I use the calender on my iphone for things like that. |

My day plans me. I have an unending mountain of issues to take care of that cannot be put off. Hardly matters what I hit first.

For the first time in my adult life, I've got so much work-related shit to do that I have to conduct a meeting with two of my key employees to coordinate our schedules and delegate tasks to them. My Outlook calendar is planned down to the minute for the next 60 days. This is not what I signed up for.

'Things I have to do' come first, 'things I want to do' come next and sometimes in between. Do as many of those things as possible within 24 hours. My Outlook calendar at work is more for the convenience of other people because otherwise I definitely wouldn't remember that they needed me for something.
