I meant here as in the forum. But yes, that cliche will suffice.

I take it you mean in this thread.

Kinda like the "two to tango" cliche?

Damn, you ruined my joke. I'm going to post it anyways.

  • Okay, everyone who's ever been profile restricted, raise your hands (entire thread posters subsequently raise their hands).
  • Everyone who's been suspended, raise your hands (anti-nowts raise their hands in this thread).
  • Perm-banned (a few raise their hands in this thread).

I don't mind saying that I have regarded some of nowt's posts to be insightful, and to contribute to the progress of a discussion... and I have told him so.

The last time I gave detailed description of my grief with nowt's behavior with respect to me, I was suspended for a week. So that won't be happening again.

Cowardly to speak about nowt when he isn't here? Even though you, Distance, think the exercise of Forum privileges by those who differ in their opinion from nowt's "chaps" is cowardly, we must all live in the reality that IS, mustn't we? I didn't start this thread, nor did I suspend nowt. The thread is here; I have the right to post.

It seems that haters can dish it out, but they can't take it. Or is this just the phony outrage we've come to expect from the usual suspects?

To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I would say your outrage is genuine.....

nowt has barged in and disrupted so many discussions I've been involved in with his throw-a-monkey-turd-and-run-away "style" that I've lost count. Unfortunately, the Ignorati think this is very clever, which provides the umerited ego-kick being sought, and perpetuates this sort of juvenile disruption.

Do you mean he has disrupted you? See it's terms like these that are so condescending of nature that make it the very antithesis of juvenile disruption. Do you believe yourself better than -anyone-?

If he is really as brilliant as people think he is, why does he never engage? He acts like a one-trick pony.

Brilliance is a graduated scale......you have your area of expertise and nowt has another. They do not intersect and no one needs to "prove" themselves to anyone here. Do you refer to lack of sharing of knowledge of which you are not owed or do you refer to recognition of those who have none?

Now his admirers are all pissy because he is receiving a long-overdue critical evaluation. The hypocrisy is palpable.

You seem to think that recognition of style is not of itself a critical evaluation...please, hypocrisy? Have you read your posts here?

So:

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Turn-about is fair play.
You reap what you sow.

If someone wants to be a crap-thrower, they can expect to take a few... without all the fake drama and moaning from their lip-chapped followers.

I wonder if you would expect one of those huggles from nowt now......lulz

I'm actually liking him more and more now.

I know what you mean.

Even while suspended he manages to piss people off and rile up an entire thread dedicated in his name.

That's talent!

Mr. Fox~

Don't you suppose that this thread evidences the "flow" of conversation -- provoked by nowt's unique style?

Isn't it up to each poster how to respond?

Do you find any of his posts incisive or revelatory to an issue, a nuance, a tone, an attitude, that might otherwise be missed?

Do you not find they challenge the status quo?

I'm confused....didn't you join after nowt was suspended?? How do you know so much about how nowt posted??

Agreed. A lot of butthurt in here by "wall-o-text" posters that have had their supposed well thought out arguments thoroughly savaged by just a few clever and well placed words. I respect brevity; exposing hypocrisy tends to cause grown fucking men to cry with poutrage and is a hilarious and welcomed by-product.

There seems to be confusion on two points:

(1) Not all parts of the forum are restricted to registered users
(2) Registered users are not restricted to reading posts from the joining date forward.

Hope that helps.

And here I thought the forum revolved around my participation. After all, without me, INTJf just sorta loses the point of even existing.

Speaking of which, I gotta run, I am needed elsewhere....

Day 44:

Food's running out. Water reserves are holding.
Don't know how much longer I can keep up. Day after day, hitting F5, waiting for signs of life. Will eventually have to leave the computer, forage for food.

Is there even a point anymore? The world is no more. My raison d'etre is no longer the slim hope of signs of life, but merely the process of surviving. The dull monotony of rigid schedules, keeping track of the days, keeping tally on hitting F5 on his userpage somehow keeps me going. I operate on autopilot now, gradually losing bits of discipline, bits of the world, bits of me. I no longer bother keeping score of the date, and the days have started blending together. Sun up, sun down. Still I sit here, diligently hitting F5.

Why? What madness keeps me to this chair, waiting for his return, not knowing when, or even if, it will come? Have I lost my mind? Or is the simple act of waiting for him helping retain what sanity I have left? I feel I have lost aspects of my very personality, I no longer look for my own entertainment or passion. The task of waiting consumes my existence. An obsession for the obsessed.

I will keep this journal for as long as I can, perhaps the mere process of writing my thoughts, waiting for his return, will help me persevere a little longer....

To help console you,
To help amuse you,
To possibly (but not likely) baffle you,
And to give Monte314 someone to argue with that is here,

*suspense builds*
*bomb dropped*

Nonono. You're thinking of Monte and Fox. Every time one of them has a toddler tantrum and storms off for a couple months, this place is like a living hell. A bastion of misery and woe. But, whew.... we can all breathe well knowing that they are here to courageously attack people who aren't even here to defend themselves. Do you know how much spine that takes? Life here is good. For now.

I don't know why folks are so quick to dismiss attacking Vocal--not that I'm advocating it; I'm just surprised it hasn't happened.

Or at least choose sides and put Vocal in the middle.

Or at least give Vocal a political view he hasn't declared and have him stand in for nowt; kinda like a Hollywood stunt butt.

Just a thought.

Hahahahahaha holy shit! Seriously most creative funny post on INTJf. I think my post about the downside of being a man was good too, though I stole that mostly.
