Are Ne users any good at long term planning? Just a curious thought that I'm too lazy to google for.

We can be sometimes. I'm not sure what the general rule is, but for me, if it's something important I map out each step in my head - ascribe a timeline to it - then set about methodically reaching the goals in order to reach it. Right now I'm in the middle of a 10 year project.

I tend to only do it for huge goals relating to my career.

I can't do it very well at all when it comes to my personal life though.

I think for Ne users it can be done, but the original long term planned was hatched through a process of Ne/Fi for ENFP's and carried out by Te for the longterm.

What do you mean by good? Development, flexibility, commitment, comparison to the plans of others on merit of being interesting, efficient, effective, etc?
