Hey everyone,

I've been out of college about a year now. I worked in the Cairo then came back for a job in NYC.

I'm currently doing global health communications with a small global health org. Its only part time and I make up for it by being a refugee case worker (what I did right after graduation).

While I'm still interested in global health I've become more and more interested in innovative design consulting. Its ambiguous and broad but its so interesting. You have to have a certain personality and intelligence for it. I really think I qualify there but I just dont know where to "go" if that makes any sense.

I have some basic design skills that I've taught myself but it seems a lot of these companies require degrees in design or a portfolio showing you know how.

Does anyone have experience in this industry? I'm just trying to learn more about it right now but eventually I'd like to try getting an internship (or "externship"
