Stale if you ask me. You're really gonna wear that avatar for your lifetime on this forum?

You need not ask for me to give my opinion.

It's a guy with branches coming out of his head. There are birds sitting on them.

an opossum that was chased up the tree in front of my porch by 3 cats one night. i ran in and grabbed my camera quickly as it was still climbing.

i like the way it symbolizes tree hugging literally, and the way the green & grey balance in the composition the way competition koi are judged for the way their spots balance and simulate clouds.

it's much easier on the retinas than my 1st 2 avatars. i don't like the way the little branch breaks up the symmetry, but that's life, even opossums are best known for playing dead

A leather chick that just took off her helmet after an MC ride through north of Italy. She has a bit of a head ache since she drove long and didn't drink enough water (silly girl). But she's on a break now to drink water so she can hop up on the bike again.

Dr. Sivana is so much fun. His enemies are people who could crack the Earth in half if they felt like it, and he's not afraid of them at all.

A photo I took in Chicago. One of only a few I've got left after HD crash... (because the back up device didn't...)

My friend linked me to this website of beautiful underwater photography. There were tons of pictures that were good avatar material, but I thought this one was particularly compelling because of the red ribbon. I might change it at some point to one of the other images.

My favourite character from this game. She was the final boss (Mir) in the last instalment, and became a playable character (goes by Jakuri/Jacqli). I particularly liked her in this costume (see below).

So I cropped it, and am using it as my avatar.

A pony being consumed by a nightmare and not being able to do a damn thing about it.
Much like my reality at the moment.

And the tag being a quote from one of my favourite stories which just seemed to fit all too well....

My avatar is of Alucard, a vampire from the anime series Hellsing.
It is fanart by an online paint artist called heise. I chose this image to work with because it felt appropriate. It looks much different form the original, so much so it would not immediately be connected to the original by someone who had seen both. I wanted to express melancholy in a very quiet but apparent way.
