Notice there are no exclamation points or the "emoticons". In fact I have actually said,
"You really don't think that me taking an interest in a topic you like, researching it and then arguing counter point, is flirting?"

I found out I was an INTJ in college and it has made my life SO much easier. Well, obviously not my dating life. fortunately for my dating life, any guy that disagrees with the above quoted statement is most likely not 'nilla. So, yeah me.

Looking forward to lurking!

Welcome,
If arguing counter points is flirting this is the hottest site on the internet. However we are mostly INTJs and therefor oblivious to it...

But...But... did you see the part where I actually MADE an effort to find out about something interesting to something else? Surely I get a cookie or a new video game or SOMETHING!

Will do! thanks for the welcome. I'm so used to being socially inept that this is a breathe of fresh air!

Well I didn't think it was, which is what's good about men, honest and to the point *thinks about turning gay*
Anyway, welcome, I'm sure you'll like it here seeing as how you seem to share a common disposition with the majority on the forum.

I'm not an INTJ but I am weird, misunderstood, generally do not have many friends, but strongly believe that I am very important and have brilliant things to say. So I guess I fit in too. Welcome abroad!

When I took the SAT, I answered every single question using emoticons. They were mostly frowny faces, since, like, I can't read or anything. But I'm sure I would have done OK if I had actually handed it in. Instead, I pulled the fire alarm and hid in the mimeograph lodge.

What's this "flirting" concept everyone keeps talking about? It's not like I'd be able to fit anyone else into the 36 square foot living quarters of the Mobile Command Center. No TV, no humans, not even a pet. It's just going to be me, myself, my other self, my other other self, the rest of my 23.5 personalities, and my guns.

Welcome to the forum... home of the most insane man in the world

As far as flirting goes, as I myself never know when that's happening, It's reasonable to believe it could be happening all the time, or never. It's the in between always and never that I just can't seem to grasp

Aw, c'mon, Ambrose! Everyone loves an exclamation point!

Actually, the right men will love your less heady, not-so-hyper-emotional attitude. Less drama is a big plus for lots of men; you just have to find a man who appreciates an INTJ. There are lots.

And welcome!

Oh Come ON,

Seriously, some people are social torture and put me in a stasis.

Thank Zodd for subtle distance.

Sorry if I'm linking anybody who doesn't want to be linked. I just always wanted to do that.

My observation, clinically tested over many years, is that most of "us" are oblivious to physical flirting. If/when we do become aware we get embarrased and don't know how to react....sabiosexuals, that's "us".
