Somehow even the thread title looks cool.

Overall the concept has been interesting. I like mentor / student relationships.

Also, with the people being programs - they aren't as worried about De-Ressing someone as they normally would be in showing someone die in a cartoon. Although it seems that the hero still can't be allowed to make the hard choices and taint his soul, so that responsibility has to fall to others.

I wish it was going a bit faster, but I think they are focusing on character development. Its going to be interesting to see what kind of allies they find and what kind of overall group forms for the Uprising.

If they keep continuity with Legacy then we know something about the future of how things might fall out, which is a little ominous, but perhaps also quite interesting. Flynn and Tron meeting and helping guide the revolution could be epic, especially if things are still expected to turn out as they were at the start of Legacy. Escaping into the human world later, would also create new directions for the story to take.

I think Legacy may have dampened my hopes for anything better from the Tron franchise, but the trailer looks ok i guess. Interesting they're going down the anime route this time. So it's set sometime between the original and Legacy is that right?

They're giving Paul Reubens work again? Ballsy.

I like the Metropolis styled art. I don't think it meshes very well with the Tron 80's neon futurism. I hated Tron: Legacy and would have walked out on it if it wasn't for Olivia Wilde. But, I'll withhold kvetching on this one since it has a different development team.

Yes its set before Legacy. There's more story and character development so far than in five episodes than there was in that whole movie.

The cast of characters is actually interesting, and they seem to be dealing with some human problems.
