A "meetup threads" subforum in Members Only for threads arranging meetups. There are plenty of these threads to go around.

The creation of child forum indexes isn't a direction we want to go with the forum index. Content tends to get buried in the nesting. However, were there sufficient post traffic to those topics, a meetups subforum with similar access prefs to Members Only could be added in the future.

In the meantime, there is a meetups tag.
