I have what several shrinks have called an "addictive personality". There may be something to this. I always do everything to the maximum once I start. I am a perfectionist. My drinking career got me pancreatitis and a fatty liver at age 20. On the other hand, I have also excelled at several fields which captivated my attention.
I am always looking for the next interesting or exciting thing. I moved from my shitty hometown of Mumbai to Gangtok; which is a small town in the Himalayas. There is no pollution or traffic here, nor as many stupid people as back in Bombay, but I am still not quite satisfied with my life. Drugs and alcohol will kill me fairly quickly. What other endeavors is an addictive personality suited for, which will result in entertainment & exhilaration? |

Is their something constructive you could really throw yourself into? Or something creative? That could let you turn it to your advantage

Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions! Just stick with the drugs and alcohol. |

Seriously? Your recommending someone with an ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY to continually take drugs and alchoal? Substances which are obviously dangerous when taken too much, and are more easily avoided with Cold Turkey? |

Get addicted to exercise, or eating healthy junk, or reading. Use it to fuel motivation for positive things, whatever that is for you. Shouldn't that be obvious?

How about reading about human motivation? It might be able to get you to understand yourself just a little better.

Gambling and fucking.
You might want to look at a 12 step program to see if you can work your way into living a bit longer than you otherwise might. |

Become addicted to a higher and noble cause and put your life at stake for that cause.
That would be an exciting and productive way of living your life… |
