No, absolutely not, unless it's for my loved ones.

Not for just anyone. I'd have to be close to the person or particularly moved by their story if it was a stranger.

It cross my mind a few times before; however, as someone who has little ones that depend on me, I'll have to say NO, because I have to be healthy to take care of my own kids.
If I had no kids or my kids where already married, or it was for my own kids, then yes, I would, no questions asked. If it was for my SO, again, it would depend on the kids age, if they still depend on me, as much as I may love my SO, one of us has to take care of the kids, it will depend on what it is and how complicated the transplant may be in both, but certainly no promise. After all, there is got to be someone healthy taking care of the kids, it would not be good for both of us to put ourself at risks and live the kids behind with nobody to take care of them. |

Strangers? Yes. I donated plasma many years ago for a lengthy period of time for a child I did not know and still do not know, and I have volunteered to be considered for (non-vital) organ donor lists to anyone I may match. If I have something that someone else needs to continue living, and I will be just fine without it (and even along with the risk of complications), why wouldn't I offer it? Perhaps it's the INFJ clouding my thinking. Lol.
People I love? Without question. When I love, I love with all I have...figuratively and literally. |

I always thought a random person getting my parts probably wouldn't be worthy.

I'd do it for my immediate family, and my best friend who I consider family.

No, I came in this world with my organs and I'm going to keep them until the end. If it was a matter of a person I care about then yes I would do what I can to save them.
For the people who donate organs to strangers - they're going to use your organs to save a life of a sociopath anyways. There's really no benefit. |

I suppose it might be theoretically possible, but at the moment the only person who is anywhere near important enough to qualify wouldn't accept it under those circumstances anyway. |

I'd consider donating to my partner, but not to anyone else. We would have to weigh up the risks together to decide whether it was worth it. Once I'm dead, I'll donate anything to anybody.

No, I wouldn't, of course I'd offer a kidney or some stuff like that to my parents, girlfriend, best mate or whatever, but never ever to a stranger, not even after my death.
I believe in fate and therefore believe that what's doomed has to die. (Is this sentence grammatically correct? It sounds kind of strange. Please correct me if not, thanks.) If somebody is supposed to die then who am I to change anything about that? |

This. I voted yes in the spirit of giving but in reality... |

I have friends who are many years post transplant who are doing very well and are very happy with their procedures. The real problem is lack of availability of organs. I don't really understand it, especially if one is deceased. Why do you need them after that?
It's fate that they are to live if it's your girlfriend or best mate, but fate that they should die if you don't know them? Yeah... that makes sense... (in some parallel universe).
They can implant a peritoneal machine and do dialysis at your house overnight. Personally, if it was me, that's how I would handle it. |

I know it doesn't, but if it's somebody I know, I feel free to tell fate to go fuck itself |

during my life I would give anything I can live without and after death I am an organ donor. I'm just hoping they find me soon enough to take everything they need.:-)

BTW, if anyone wants to donate a kidney, message me. I can put you in touch with a "Kidney Matchmaker".

I have no idea (possibly like a kidney for a loved one) but I think due to cigarette use that most of my organs may be unusable or at least the ones that cigarettes effect.

Depends on the receiver.
Then again, there aren't many people that would be in the position to be receiving, since I basically know not many people. So most probably, no. |

No way would I give a kidney to a stranger. What if someone I knew and cared about needed a kidney somewhere down the line? I'd be kicking myself! |

Yes. The person must not be elderly and must be very important to me. |
