Banned from IRC?

So I tried to log on to the IRC channel and it kept sending me back to the nickname page. So I tried to log into the IRC using my IRC client and it says i'm perm banned. I don't recall doing anything against the rules what so ever. I actually haven't signed into the chat room from this location once yet. I was wondering if the situation could be explained to me or the ban removed. Thank you.

Hm, I checked my logs and the ban list and I'm fairly sure the user "Dave" hasn't been banned specifically from the #intj channel. Are you able to connect to irc.ecnet.org at all (rather than specifically the #intj channel)?

Sounds like an network ban. Probably not intentional, considering the server seems to ban people if they have viruses/trojans/etc.
