I was asking another member this the other day, and have come to the conclusion that it's love if you are willing to sacrifice your comfort for them, if you find yourself doing things that you could under different circumstances easily ignore, it may be love. When they are not an intrusion on your space/time but are a happy/welcome distraction, it may be love, if you take their phone calls when all you want to do is be left alone, it may be love.
I think I prefer lust. |

I meant it in the context of a relationship. |

It's probably lust for me. There's this girl that I work with. I'm 22, she's 32. She doesn't act like an average 32 year old, but she doesn't act like a child. She has these cute mannerisms about her and is able to think around the rules, which I admire a lot. She's also an INFJ. I feel like I can trust her so much. She did something one day that really annoyed me, and I ended up ignoring her for like 2 weeks. Then one day, it was like the frustration with her was gone and I wanted to be with her all the time again.
When I'm with her, I feel like I can just stand next to her and stare at her endlessly, then she just ends up saying, "Andrew, are you ok?" The physical attraction isn't what it normally is when I see a drop dead gorgeous woman, but the feeling I get when I'm around her or see her is just overwhelming, and it's like nothing else matters. I bought a card for her once and wrote this long paragraph telling her what I liked about her. She's one of the first people that's triggered such an emotional attraction rather than physical attraction. Being an ISTJ, I can't make sense of the emotions, so it's just illogical. She has a boyfriend and she's 10 years older. It just sucks. |
