Why do you suppose this is? Is it the same reasons other people are turning away from him or is something else going on here? Is Obama a secret Muslim or something?

The USSA is steaming toward the iceberg of economic collapse, and Obama is the captain on the bridge, screaming "Faster! FASTER--MAINTAIN COURSE!!!"

I am surprised that Jews supported him by such a huge majority. Do you know which of his positions was attracting them in the first place?

The support for Israel issue must be a hot one, I thought Republicans were keener on that. Jews, as a group, tend to earn higher than average. That too would push them to the Republicans to avoid rich persons tax. I guess it could be that they are a minority and the Democrats position themselves as the party for minorities.

It's a cultural thang. Jews support democrats, overwhelmingly.

Jews are not your stereotypical white person's group, in case you were wondering. Hundreds of years of oppression makes you recognize a religiously and culturally oblivious person like Romney. My experience with other Jewish people and my own family is that we pay close attention to what each politician is saying and doing.

My 100 year old grandpa (who's Jewish, just like me) will most likely be voting Democrat.

At least he didn't call New York "Hymietown."

My grandfather was a Jew who emigrated from Russia and he died at 103. I know he voted for JFK but after that I have no clue. He never said anything to me about Zionism or Israel. I do know this: If Israel is attacked and innocents die a lot of American Jews will abandon any party that does not whole heartedly support Israel. Obama's idiocy regarding Israel and his clueless dialogue with Israeli leaders have hurt him. But the main reason he is losing support among Jews is the economy.

Only Jews I know who oppose the Democrats still have memories of life under the USSR. And a few token people in Hollywood.

When was the last time we had a leader who went up in popularity over time?

I would say it's the same reason as other people who aren't supporting him anymore.

U.S. President Barack Obama currently has the support of 64% of Jewish registered voters, according to the Gallup polling agency.

Problem?

I think the problem is supposed to be that in 2008 it was 74% so they're asking, "Why the drop?"

I don't know enough about statistics in sociology to be able to determine if this kind of drop at this point in time is significant.
