The only caution I'd give is this: An INTJ who becomes psychologically addicted to something can have a hard time quitting--the mind is the throne of the disease; the mind is the INTJ's greatest weapon.

I found that weed makes me more relaxed physically, but only serves to enhance my introversion. It tends to make my inner world of creativity become much like a prison of swirling vivid thought, which causes me to remain zoned out and delve even further into my abyss of ideas. This process for me its fun in and of itself as I am in my world of ideas while sober anyway.

With some strains and types of cannbis, this has progressed into light paranoia, depending on the environment (being wary of the law etc). In other scenarios this has improved or enhanced by creative output (writing stories, music production, art and design) using when alone and in social scenarios it has just made things seem funnier.

One thing I must say weed does do for me, is it injects a quick dose of "fuck it" into any immediate requirements for physical activity. If anything that isn't a creative passion (apart from eating, sleeping and sex) needed to be done before I smoked that spliff sure ain't gon' be happening now. The room will remain a dump, the dishes will remain unwashed but I'll have a whole album produced within that week.

I only smoke maybe a couple times a year and do enjoy it. I either:

1) trip out(prob because I'm not a casual smoker and when I do things I usually try to do it 100%)
2) am calmer and relaxed

The tripping out experiences are really bad. Could see people in 3D. People had huge bobble heads all staring at me. Could process in my mind elaborate theories or happenings from world war 2(and this is from me not having much knowledge at all). Nothing made sense to me and was trying to sort things out logically the whole time.

Listening to music and eating food is fun though hehe. When I'm in Cali, I only smoke enough to relax and enjoy the ride.

I think it turned me into an INTX. I used to test significantly higher in J.

Interesting...sounds like something I should try next time I smoke.

As far as my response to pot goes, I phase out entirely. The music playing seems to take half an hour a song, and what goes on in my head seems to double it's speed. Possibly more but I never bother trying to calculate it because reasons.

FYI I smoke rarely and never buy it.

i suffer pretty bad insomnia and smoking really helps me calm down so i can get a good nights sleep. when i smoke i can go to bed when i want because my mind isn't racing with a thousand ideas. For me the high is dependent on what state of mind im in when i smoke. if im sitting there doing nothing then thats what i will do when im high. if i work myself up and watch workout videos i can get an amazing workout and so forth.

I went on a massive weed binge and even gave myself a long weekend so I could smoke some more. I. LOVE. WEED.

It helps calm my mind. And I can really focus. My visualisations become a million times more detailed, accurate almost like they're real and I just enjoy things more; music, films, dramas etc.
But because I vaporize my weed now, I don't feel body stoned, just mind stoned. And happy, very happy. (Until I think about something negative of course).
Oh but if I am high around other people, I get a bit paranoid. It's weird.

I much prefer to smoke on my own though.

Oh I just read the post above and yeah, after a while I just fall asleep. LOL. Lame i know.

If you're an INTJ, you don't smoke when you're competing, or even doing your daily tasks. That's a INxP and/or IxFP territory. You smoke when you're done with doing for the day, and you're unwinding and decompressing for an hour or a few at night, or on the weekends. I don't smoke if I have stuff to do; I smoke when I know that I'm done for the night. Rest, relaxation, and reefer.

All of these are me to a tee, but I've gotta say I'm a bit worried about memory loss. Have any of you experienced reduced memory functions?

It is a better relaxant than alcohol. I get happier, more calm, and overall happiness. But I also know I cannot concentrate as precise as when sober, so I regulate myself to once in awhile, and only before bed, occasionally with friends, but I do not drive afterwards.

I see marijuana as the balancer for deep concentration.

I would be high every second of the day if it didn't give me such incredible anxiety.
I start to like get anxious of the way the wind blows, it's really stupid.

Maybe I should go see someone about it?
