I did not start until I was 3 but that was because I have 3 siblings that are at least ten years older than me and they did most of my talking for me.

At about 7 months of age I said 'No.'
My first sentences were just after my first birthday, I think. I was reading by about two years of age.

By my understanding, I started making rudimentary sentences around one and a half years old.

Not sure about specifics, I've been told I was walking and talking by age 1.

My parents say age 2. I've been told that by age 3 I spoke very well. My mom says some people were blown away by how well I could speak at a young age.

Same here

I think I started talking in actual sentences when I was around three. I know my little brother started talking at two, sentences at three, and intelligent conversation at four.

My parents said that i spoke my first words a bit later than what is common for toddlers, and i had to go to a pre-school because i was not speaking properly or at all, for that matter. My dad said that he thinks it was because my mom spoke broken english when i was that age, it probably didn't help that i was born with an impaired tongue.

My parents told me i spoke in short sentances at age 3, just long enough to get my point across. I didnt really started speaking coherentlytill age 4. That doesnt sound right. Does this sound normal to you? When did you started to talk?

I believe I was uttering words around my first birthday. I remember being able to hold up a conversation by preschool, though I don't remember when I started making sentences.

My son is about to turn 5 (I don't really think he is an INTJ though we certainly share some personality similarities) and he probably started speaking well around 3. He has always perfectly pronounced words since he first learned them, we always laughed at his enunciation when he first started talking. It was just a knack he had, I think it can possibly be explained by the fact that both me and his mother tend to speak slowly.

My niece is the same age, more of an extrovert though. She also started talking around age 1, was forming sentences and conversing by age 3. But even now (she just turned 5) she isn't very coherent. She speaks at a million miles an hour, uses bad syntax and so on. I'm not worried about her, soon enough she will slow down and be fine.

All that aside, I don't really think it matters when a kid starts talking. If you are capable of talking now that you are older, what does it matter?

At four years old. I apparently knew how to but preferred to point and use hand gestures, especially if strangers were around. I had older siblings though, like Post 51.

I started talking to my parents at the age of 4. The local elementary school wouldn't let me enroll in kindergarten until my mom told them to give me a crayon and let me write the answers to the questions that they were asking.

I am not sure because my mother could not give me a good answer, but did mentioned that I spoke very little until about age 6. Before then barely, but after that only some more.

My dad noted I started talking and walking a lot earlier than my brothers; he claims I spoke my first word at five months, and both parents say I was speaking in short sentences before age 2.

I'm the youngest child and a girl, so it's not too surprising I talked a little sooner.

I started speaking at 6 or 9 months, supposedly.

Same here; My Mom loved to tell stories about how I'd scare people when I started talking. Allegedly when I was about 8 mos old, she was running in the park w/me in my stroller, and a couple of old ladies from our neighborhood stopped her to gawk over the baby. Imagine their surprise when upon pinching my cheeks, I retorted, "You shouldn't be touching me. You don't even know me."

Heh, my aversion to touching has been long-ingrained.

Five years... My doctor thought I was deaf or had some other hearing problem for a while, though my parents noticed that I responded to my name. My grandmother said it was because my mom already did everything for me so I didn't have to ask for anything.

I will never start talking. You can't break me.

I mean, I don't know actually. They never mentioned it, I never asked.
