Are there any gamers out there who are oblivious to release dates, in search of any of the best games ever created?

I'm not sure of what exactly you're asking. I keep track of release dates, but I very often play older games. I was playing Super Mario Bros. 3 just the other day.

Finished Diablo I. Diablo cried like a little bitch. I've installed Hellfire to hopefully up the challenge.

I wouldn't mind writing for them if I didn't have so many other things going on right now, actually.

Lately I've been playing Fatal Frame 2, Perfect Dark, and Metroid. Come to think of it, all three of those games have female protagonists. That's coincidental.

Finished Diablo 3 normal last night. Have a ridiculous back-log, though I'll probably play through nightmare.

Just finished Mass Effect 3. Kind of called the ending, and the other side of it I didn't call aligns pretty snugly with my thoughts about the far future in general. I enjoyed it. A daring ending for a video game. Curious to see what the extended ending will be like, but I don't think it needs it.

Started Assassin's Creed between multiplayer rounds getting my Galactic Readiness to 100% in ME3. Picked up the first 3 for PS3 during the Ubisoft PSN sale last week.

Still kind of want to check off some paradox endings in FFXIII-2 and upgrade my Knight in White Knight Chronicles 2, but have a feeling that's not going to happen.

**NEWS FLASH**

The extended ending of Mass Effect 3 has been announced that it will only be in Spanish.

Shepard and company, in an 'everyday where all they all now' type of ending all get together and open a restaurant, making fish tacos and enchiladas.

The DLC will be called

Don't even joke about that, man. Every time I think about Mass Effect 3's ending, it makes me grumpy. The extended ending was announced a short while back, but I'm not sure how Bioware is going to worm themselves out of this one, and maybe they don't care that much, spouting bullshit about "artistic integrity." Supposedly, a Volus on the Citadel gave hints to the ending of the third one, but knowing that doesn't make the ending any less annoying.

As of now, I'm back to roaming Fallout 3, in hopes of polishing up the last of the achievements. When I get close enough to 100% completion in any game, I obsess over the remaining nuggets that taunt me. I'm not even particularly fond of the game, either, except for the nostalgia due to playing it on and off for years, and conversing with a former co-worker about all the possibilities inherent in the game. The god-awful story, facial animations, and for the most part poor atmosphere, all contribute to my overall disliking of the game. Which is ironic, considering I'm still playing the game so long after its initial release. All that being said, I'm going to polish up the final New Vegas DLC (in terms of achievements), then concern myself with other franchises.

Heroes of Newerth, now and forever.

I put in about 8 hours in diablo 3, and decided that I spent 8 hours too much on that game.

I have been spending many hours downloading countless mods and dlc and preparing skyrim and new vegas for my 5 month trip. So far I am very impressed at the finished product.

I think that almost every single player does; the only exception being those that play no stat games (which is a very small portion of the player base). But yeah, i play ranked.

Tried Torchlight 2 beta. It's a lot promising and I had much more fun compared to d3 beta.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive Beta. I remember doing this Valve survey about CS a couple of months back. That was probably what triggered it since there's no word on open beta. It was just waiting for me yesterday when I turned on Steam.

It is a game for a new generation of CS players, not for the veterans of CS 1.6. It's still fun though. And it's still very much a CS game. But I can't get over the fact that ammo in this game is free. I don't mind new weapons and grenades, but free ammo? Jesus Christ that's so noobish. All classic maps are there, updated of course. They all play pretty much the same. It's going to take some getting used to new object placement around the maps.

Hit-boxes need a lot of fixing before the game is out.

AWP is as deadly as always. One shot kill 99% of the time. That's a good thing.

And the game runs pretty well. 5 vs 5 on highest settings with 8xAA and 16xAF over 100 FPS on a 4 year old system.

Just finished replaying the original Deus Ex, that game still holds up pretty well after 12 years.

Was playing some Dwarf Fortress but got bored, plus my fort had hit the point where so many immigrants have arrived that even with Dwarf Therapist it's just too much of a pain to manage them all. So many idlers...
